If it does, be part of “Paranormal 101” an educational evening hosted by an expert team from Southeastern Institute of Paranormal Research. “Paranormal 101” offers an overview of the investigation process and equipment used when searching for signs of paranormal activity. From local groups to international travel programs, Stately Oaks Historic Community welcomes group tours near and far. Group tours are led by our costumed interpreters who share the history of the house, outbuildings, and grounds.
Minimum of 10 guests required.
Groups of 25 or more can also select either the Lunch or Dinner Guided Tours.

Imagine living in 1864 when men were away fighting in the Civil War, while the women and children remained on the home front, fighting battles of their own. This tour consists of first-hand accounts of the heroic people left behind at Stately Oaks.
Students have opportunity to pitch in with daily chores, play period games, and tour the historic home.
School tours are offered Monday – Friday. Minimum of 40 students.
Tours last 2 – 2 1/2 hours.

The Creek Indians (Muskogee) lived on Clayton County lands long before the European colonists arrived. During this tour your students will be led through the recreated Native American Village at Stately Oaks.
Students will learn about the lifestyle of the Creek Indians through games, crafts, food, artifacts and storytelling.
